Everyone has to admit that they use toilet everyday and many times every day. Some of you may find it difficult or really disgusting to use the public toilet in public areas like malls as they are...not really clean, right. But is the toilet at your home clean? It is only if you know how to clean it thoroughly.
Before you have actually started to clean your toilet, the first thing you should do is to turn on the fan. As most of the cleaning products have chocking or stinging smell, good ventilation inside the bathroom is very essential for thorough clean of toilet.
Secondly, from experience is to remove all the stuff near or on top of the toilet. It is so easy to get them dropped into the toilet bowl when you are doing your cleaning.
Now, wear your gloves to protect your hands from the cleaner chemicals. Then, take your toilet cleaner and read about the usage direction. Apply the cleaner to the inside of the toilet bowl abundantly and try to apply as close as much to the rim. Depending on the type of cleaners (according to the usage direction), you may need to wait for several minutes.
During your waiting for the inside cleaning, you can clean the exterior parts of the toilet. You should clean every part including the tank, than handle, the outside of toilet bowl and most importantly, the toilet seat (this is the part you are always touching) from the top to the bottom with the cleaner and sponge. Do not try to clean the exterior part with the toilet brush as you know the germs from the inside can be spread to the exterior parts.
Before you have flushed the toilet, you have to clean the toilet bowl with toilet brush. Scrub as hardly as you can especially to those stain formed. Then, you can flush the toilet. When the water is coming out for flushing, you can keep brushing the toilet, this help clean the toilet and you brush.
You should then wipe clean the toilet with paper towel. It is considered paper towel is a better choice for the wipe clean than towel or cloth as it is disposable, therefore, less germs or bacteria can be spread to the toilet. Finally, spray the disinfectant onto the whole toilet and you can either wait until the disinfectant dries up or use the paper towel to wipe again.
Now you can get your completely clean toilet!
