So, if you have black mold, the sooner you begin getting rid of it the better for this will prevent it from growing beyond your control and eventually turning into a large and costly problem.

How to get rid of black mold?

You start at the root of it all. Most varieties of mold would need a combination of darkness and damp environments in order to thrive, so the first thing you should focus on is dehumidifying your home. You can do this by buying a dehumidifier unit which can be easily purchased from any home depot as well as in other home supply stores. The purpose of this unit would be to suck the naturally produced moisture in the air inside your home. Do remember to clean out and make sure to empty the unit's water collection bucket after every use.

After this, you can begin step two which involves using a bleach and water solution to spray on the mold. You mat also purchase some ready made cleaning substances that are specially made to get rid of mold as well as other cleaning tools you might need. However, it is important to note that whatever tools you use on the mold must be immediately disposed off afterward as these are already contaminated. Another important thing to note is to not mix bleach and ammonia for doing so will produce harmful fumes that are bad for your health.
