The first thing that we have to do to brighten your home is to get rid of clutter. This is a build up of items that you have no room for. This causes a heaviness on your home on your spirit being, a built up of dust which affects your physical being. These items might be furniture, clothing, papers, kitchen or bathroom accessories and more.

You will have to prepare yourself to discard items you don't need, which means that if you have not used that item in the past 6-12 months it can be stored, given away or discarded. You can also donate to Salvation Army. If you are not willing to let go of those unnecessary items then this process will not work, but if you are, choose a room or an area to start.

Which ever room you choose to start, begin at one end and go into a circle, this will help you to be more organized and you won't forget where you start and where you end. You will find as you start discarding how light that area gets and good you start you will feel.

When you are done discarding items in that room or area, start with dusting of the walls and webs and again begin at one end of the room into a circle. Using the same circle process, dust the furniture and if you choose, re-organizing of the furniture can give the room a new look. Depending on your mood add or subtract accessories to enhance the beauty of the room. By the time you complete that area I guarantee you will have a smile of satisfaction on your face, but remember you will need to maintain it for it to stay constant.
